ARTIST BIO

Growing up in a family of artists, I have always experienced the beauty of complexity of art. Throughout my life, I have always been engaged in the artistic process with different types of projects and have learnt many different and eclectic skills from crocheting, to french polishing. There has always been a strong desire to experiment with different mediums and effects. This passion to create and extend my artistry has further progressed into paintings.

I am a science teacher located in Melbourne and this is reflected in the types of flora, fauna and astronomical constellations depicted in my works. With a strong passion for the natural world, there is a desire to recreate its vastness and beauty in my works. The range of colour in the night skies or the diversity of Australias flora and fauna is featured prominently and I aim to bring these to life with my paintings.

My artwork is created on hardwood boards an I use a combination of acrylic and oils as a background before completing my works.
