ARTIST BIO

I grew up in South Africa and developed a love of drawing and painting at an early age. I was fortunate enough to attend weekly art classes, since the age of nine and went on to pursue a career in graphic design for many years.

After visiting Australia in 2001, I fell in love with the ‘lucky country’ and decided to settle in Melbourne. Although I did not continue my career in my original field of study, I have held positions that have allowed me to use my creative skills.

In 2017, I felt the urge to get back behind the easel and been enjoying charcoals, pastels and oils. I love creating images of animals and of out door scenes and continually trying new techniques.

Art is very fulfilling and I hope to become a professional artist within the coming years.
