ARTIST NOTES: Influenced by cartography with snippets of real-world maps highlighting well-known conflict zones. Additionally, this piece reflects the 'discrete' geographical and cultural differences between the countries of the world as shown by the sharp lines and colour variation. Furthermore, the white perpendicular lines are representative of the latitude and longitudinal lines giving the viewer some kind of perspective for interpretation.
